Ever thought a picture you took would make a great bead pattern? Let the bead pattern designer in you break out and have fun. Where to begin. Some start on paper, but you need to be sure to use graph paper that is made especially for the beads and stitch you wish to make the pattern for. An easier way to get started is with a bead design software... Here I will list 3 that I would be willing to recommend... 1) BeadCellar Bead Software - this is the only one I know of that has Custom Bead Size, so this is the only one I use. $94.50 2) BeadCreator Bead Design Software - popular with many bead pattern designers $86.33 3) BeadTool Bead Program - used by several bead pattern designers I know $24.95 What I wanted in a bead design software... Custom Palette, Custom Bead Size, Easy to exchange all beads of one color to another, Count up beads needed for me, As much flexibility as possible. I know that BeadCreator and BeadTool have: Custom Palette, Easy to exchange all beads of one color to another, Count up beads needed for you. I do not know if they have the feature: As much flexibility as possible. BeadCellar is the only bead software I know that has Custom Bead Size. This, for me, is a must. Price, for me, did not matter - as long as it was under $100, as this is a business for me. For starters, if you do not need Custom Bead Size, I would recommend BeadTool. The price is right and I have heard raving reviews on another Yahoo Group for this bead software. If Custom Bead Size is a must, then BeadCellar is the program for you.
